English for safety and hygiene in the face of COVID - 19

We always consider our classes of English for sure and hygiene. Since the beginning of this new reality, we have adapted to a series of measures to ensure a safe return to Face-to-face English. We know that childhood should be a time of learning, fun and above all a space for experimentation. For this reason and because it is important for development at this stage, we propose a safe return focusing on the health of teachers, families and children.

The Great Little People English language schools are implemented in nursery schools. That's why it has a double security protocol. The academy's own and the nursery school's own. Our classrooms are 30m2, and our groups of up to 8 children. Therefore, we are able to ensure a distance of more than 1.5 meters because we use spaces where 20 children from a kindergarten normally live together (current ratios defined in the educational guidelines of the Ministry of Education for the prevention of Covid-19).

During the first week of September our staff will be trained in all protocols defined. It is important that our entire community knows and applies them in order to make it safe to return to school.

We have always encouraged the acquisition of English through everyday situations. That's why we have included more hygiene routines through games that help raise children's awareness and maintain a safe environment, so our students will learn English safely. We have also revised and updated our project and our educational resources. In this way, we have replaced activities that could include greater contact between children to avoid cloth resources that are difficult to disinfect.
