The Great Little People methodology comes to Midleton School Getafe

For the 2022- 2023 Academic Year Midleton School Getafe start a new phase by introducing a new language course for young children with the Great Little People's innovative methodology. Thanks to this union, boys and girls will be able to acquire knowledge of English from the school, with face-to-face classes at Midleton School, to the home, with the application Great Little World and digital content.

In the Great Little People methodology, play and the acquisition of English naturally, imitating the learning of the mother tongue, are very important. For this reason, its methodology, designed by pedagogues and teachers, consists of carrying out activities throughout the classroom, which provide dynamism and capture the attention of the little ones. This teaching system has been called ”Corners” and in total there are 5:

• Start corner,
• Phonics corner,
• Active corner,
• LEt's Eat Corner
• RReading corner.

In them, the 4 language skills are practiced and developed in addition to such important areas as emotions, friendship or care for the environment. All of this, in a fun way. All these exercises are carried out with their own materials such as magnetic boards, puzzles, stories, phonetic materials, workbooks, songs, videos and digital content for their educational app Great Little World.

Midleton School Expands to English Education at an Early Age

In the year 2003 he was born Midleton School as a language center for a small group of students. Little by little, thanks to the dedication of its founder Óscar Porras, the school grew to become what it is now; 800 students enrolled thanks to its own methodology, the high performance they obtain in official tests and their programs abroad during the summer and the school year, being Ireland's star destination.
