Great Little People was born with the purpose that education in English for children and the acquisition of English were always hand in hand, and we are still focused on that objective every day and with great goals to meet, since we have years of experience, virtual English classes and the e-learning for children. In addition, we are present in more than 25 centers in Spain.
Thus, we have achieved one of our greatest achievements: bilingual online training created exclusively for educators. The platform of WeTeach focuses on the acquisition of English at an early age as something essential for children's development and we have collaborated with other entities to create extensive content in it.
WeTeach is an online course with more than 20 teaching units in which teachers can find resources, knowledge and tools for the development of children's curriculum in English, also helping their school or college to improve their English educational proposal.
Assemblies, English with safety and hygiene, activities, outdoor games or food. They will have specific content, teaching units about the family, the body, the seasons, the festivities with their celebrations, nature or professions. They will end up with cross-cutting issues such as emotional education, conflict resolution, phonetics and pronunciation.
In addition, it is accompanied by tips and strategies for application in the classroom itself, the use of vocabulary, useful phrases and strings, simple types of grammar per unit, songs in English for children, their own or familiar, educational videos for example or debates and networking with other teachers, as well as a test, games in English for children and final project to consolidate their knowledge.
And at the end of the uninterrupted training, they will have access to an employment exchange for the best nursery schools and schools in Spain. And, all this, with the only requirement of having an internet connection and a computer with access to it.
The course is 60 hours and there will be unlimited possibilities for consultation for 6 months, as many times as needed. The main advantages we have seen in our pilot test are several. On the one hand It doesn't matter what initial level of English the teachers have. The interesting thing is to be able to learn skills and knowledge to differentiate yourself and to be able to turn it into something productive for your students.
On the other hand, when we make it easier for teachers to work, they make better use of their class hours. This therefore improves the school's own English project. In addition, the educational team will come out both with a certification by Great Little People.
