A few months ago, we started working with ESNE (University School of Design. (Innovation and Technology) In a educational app in English for children. Very intuitive, it is perfect to complement the integral development of girls and boys in this language.
We are not satisfied with taking the lead in terms of educational innovation. We want to bet on something even more exciting, the use of disruptive technology in our daily lives for the acquisition of English.
Current advances have meant that we are designing our own app with emerging technologies in education such as virtual classes, virtual reality. Augmented reality, artificial intelligence or voice recognition.
Although we start from a proven face-to-face methodology, we have experienced digitalization, so we can keep our essence and personality in that format.
Thanks to the experiences and the impact that these techniques produce on the student, it is possible link knowledge with an emotional experience. In this way, a much deeper and more emergent memory can be created. On the other hand, transmitting and understanding concepts from teacher to student becomes animated and three-dimensional, facilitating interactivity. This is accompanied by greater motivation, awakening a greater interest in being more attractive and visual.
Our R&D team will allow us to launch an educational app in English called Great Little World in 2021. It will contain songs, videos, animations and even interactive stories adapted to the ages that comprise the methodology of Great Little People. The families of our students will be able to enjoy the digitized content outside the classrooms themselves. Regardless of the exact location and always maintaining the dynamism and playful personality of the face-to-face sessions.
For us like specialists in early childhood education it's important that our connection continues to be seen as a game. That is why we have introduced gamification as a learning tool. This makes it easier to internalize some concepts by improving skills, rewarding concrete actions, encouraging the spirit of improvement and creating a positive experience.
It will also allow us to detect the tastes and interests of girls and boys, through process automation. This will be reflected in The educational app which will show the most relevant content that best fits each case.
Can you imagine a weekly ranking with those students who have scored the most points by overcoming the different levels of a game? In this way, we can connect students with the teacher, and with each other in a fun way, creating an environment of cooperativism and solidarity.
While it is true that there is currently increasing competition and demand, we consider that the potential digital implications are far-reaching. It is an area yet to be explored that has grown exponentially in recent years and to which is added the combination of five very strong trends for quality adaptive learning: such as digitalization, globalization, personalization, privatization and automation.
Technology and its use in the educational world, as well as in training, will allow a individualized monitoring of students, implementing collaborative or team learning, gaining interaction between students, and promoting understanding and autonomy, learning to learn. It also encourages critical thinking, and in the case of teachers, it makes their way of working much more interesting, innovative and efficient.
We are confident that our educational app for learning English, will be greatly welcomed by those families who are willing to create, together with us, a system alternative to traditional education. In this way, little by little, we hope that the global education system will have a more positive and favorable view of online learning.
